TECH RADAR Review our updated 2026 engineering choices and production benchmarks. Our 5 Standards
PEARL CODE

Modern Tools. Deliberate Choices.

We don't chase hype or build brittle dependencies. We select technologies pressure-tested for high throughput, memory safety, developer velocity, and decade-long maintainability.

Our 5 Non-Negotiable Principles

Every line of code and embedded system delivered by Pearl Code adheres to these rules without exception.

1. Absolute ACID Idempotency on Financial Ledgers

Every payment hook, MTN MoMo / Airtel Money transaction, and interest computation must be idempotent. A transaction can be triggered ten times over unstable mobile networks and will process exactly once with zero double-counting.

2. Edge-First Firmware Safety & Watchdog Recovery

Hardware devices deployed in the field cannot be power-cycled by hand. All firmware features independent hardware watchdog timers, non-volatile brownout protection, and automatic dual-boot rollback if an OTA packet fails signature validation.

3. Zero Hardcoded Secrets & Automated Vaulting

Database credentials, MTN MoMo open API keys, Airtel Money secrets, and private SSL keys are never committed to git repositories. All secrets are injected dynamically via encrypted vault managers (Infisical / AWS Secrets Manager) at runtime.

4. Sub-100ms P95 API Latency Standard

Sluggish user interfaces erode trust. We optimize database query execution plans, utilize index covers, cache warm read paths in Redis, and profile endpoint memory consumption before greenlighting any release.

5. 100% Client Code & Hardware IP Ownership

We believe in partnership, not hostage-taking. Upon final milestone signoff, all Git source code, database migration scripts, Dockerfiles, and deployment documentation are fully transferred to the client.
